All I'm Sayin' Is, It Should Be A Choice

Hello there Fast Heart Mart supporters!

I hope this message finds you well, if not, blame Big Pharma for constantly blotting out alternative solutions to our health problems. Hopefully one day we will live in a world where health isn't always driven by monetary profit. On the positive side of that, these times we are living through create plenty of reasons to get creative. I mean, I have so many things tow rite about that I don't know where to start. Also, just because there is plenty to express these days is not always easy to do because you may be expressing an opinion that could offend your closest companions. Which leads me to my new single called "Choice" which is out everywhere today.

New "Choice" Song Drops Today

lwatch here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_k2oN7yKik

My newest song is about respecting each others' choices. I should have written this song a year ago when lots of people were getting fired from their jobs for refusing to take the mRNA C!9 injection and/or being coerced into taking the shot to keep their job, but I was in a state of shock. It's better late than never. I hope you enjoy it!

Lyrics
I’m not right wing I’m not left wing
I’m somewhere in between
I just want to be left alone
To live self reliantly
So let’s try and talk calmly
Without raising our voice
All I’m saying is it should be a choice

You can solve your problems the way that you want to
and I will do the same
There’s more ways than one way to live happily
And to play this game
I drive an old Prius
They drive a Rolls Royce
All I’m saying is it should be a choice

Some things in life are better left
into the hands of God
No one knows the consequences
or if either way is flawed
alternate: And people have lost their jobs
So please don’t try to convince me
With a bunch of loud noise
All I’m saying is it should be a choice

You say you know the science
and wanna force your Beliefs on me
But when I show you my science
you wanna call it Conspiracy
Soon you start telling me
How you think I’m paranoid
All I’m saying is it should be a choice

Song written, recorded and performed by "Fast Heart" Martin Stamper
Video by Boris Khamishon
Additional mixing and mastering by Mitch Slade

Restarted My Podcast
watch here:
https://youtu.be/Pab8YF1pK6A

Some of you may remember that I started my podcast at the beginning of the pandemic because all my gigs were canceled. Then, I stopped the podcast about a year later when I felt like everything was too controversial and I did not want to alienate people. Well, I have been called back into the ring to restart my podcast. I feel my voice is pretty moderate in a world of extremes and I am being called to share my thoughts. As I've stated before, I believe the world is one big family and right now the family is being forced to talk about all the elephants in the room. It is up to each of us to be the change we want to see in the world. We all contribute in our own way. I have been given the gift of music and banter between songs, so in July I started back with the topic "Why I Like The Star Spangled Banner".

You can also listen to my podcast on Spotify and all your favorite sites:

Upcoming San Diego Shows:
I'm not doing much touring this year with gas prices and the overall temperament of the world, but I am steady doing gigs around San Diego. I hope to see you sometime. I even played at the Padres Stadium in July and that almost felt like being on tour because the vibe was so different :)

Well, that's enough for this month Fast Heart Martyrs! Write back and say hello if you get a chance :)

I hope this message finds you well, if not, blame your parents for not aborting you in utero.

Why Play Banjo In San Diego? - Documentary

https://youtu.be/8ffLGc2Imrg

In this 30 minute documentary, videographer Boris Khamishon looks into what would make a banjo player set to playing music on the streets of San Diego. I hope you enjoy it! I mostly talk about why I moved to San Diego 9 years and started playing my banjo on the streets. You might be interested in finding out why. Click the photo or the link above and check it out.

I have a new song coming out Wednesday July 27th called "It Should Be A Choice". Videographer Boris Khamishon is doing a great job with the video so far. I'm excited for you all to see it :)

Until Next Time
Well, that's about it for now. I hope you enjoy my "newsletters", if not write back and tell me why. I know most newsletters I receive are as dry and humorless as the Saharan desert, so I try and keep mine a bit lively, if possible; after all I kind of am trying to be a rock star here and who wants a well adjusted rock star? Boring......

*PS I know some people are going to be very upset by that abortion statement/joke. Yes, it's meant to be funny. Yes, it's a serious subject. Yes, I think it's sad that sometimes people feel it's in their best interest to abort a child. Yes, I think it's sad that some babies get aborted. However, I lay it all in the hands of God and trust that everyone is doing the best they can on this planet. This play has been going on for a long time before I arrived and I have a feeling it will be going on a long time after I leave.

The point of the joke was to remind us all to be grateful that we are here, no matter how challenging things are for any of us right now. It's a miracle to be here. If I offended you and you want to unsubscribe from this list, I completely understand. But I'm going to continue being the artist I set out to be, inspiring others to be themselves, no matter how dangerous. These times we are living in can be so serious and depressing and some comedy relief has to be found in unlikely places.

If we haven't learned by now that we have to be prepared to talk with a sense of humor about EVERYTHING, then we have probably missed the point of this whole shit storm we've been living through for the past 2.5 years. I mean, that's the way I see it. We've all got our reasons for believing what we believe, so let's just try and find the common ground among all of us and do it with a smile on our faces, if possible.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I believe the human race is one big family that is now being forced to talk about all the pink elephants in the womb....uh-hmm, I mean in the room. Some of the elephants are very real, some of them are not. So let's poke at them all and see which ones want to stay and which ones want to leave.

Not that anyone cares or needs to know, but I am Pro-Choice on just about every current subject I can think of, especially the issue of the mRNA injections. However, I am open to respectful debate.

Everything's Gonna Be Alright - Campfire Video

Hello there Fast Heart Mart supporters!

I hope this message finds you well, if not, blame Mercury for being in retrograde AGAIN.

Everything's Gonna Be Alright - Campfire Video

https://youtu.be/71CNoNJCcZk

This is a video taken around a campfire at my birthday party back in March. Boris did the camera work, while Shadowlight played fiddle and sang backing vocals, as Saki played guitar. The performance of this song is far from perfect, but I decided to share it as I think people will appreciate the campfire vibe.

The song's message "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" is to encourage people to let go and let God. You hold on as much as you can, but sometimes you must also let go, as the end of the song says.

I know some people get annoyed by the statement "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" because sometimes things are not "alright". This me be true, but in the grand scheme I think everything is alright, even though it's really difficult to see this sometimes. In the end, God is the only one who is in control and that makes everything alright. If a person does not believe in God, then hopefully they can see that the wisdom of all that is is "alright". If neither of these explanations resonates, then please excuse the song.

Why Am I Called Fast Heart Mart?

Ever wondered why I go by the name Fast Heart Mart?

In 1995 my friend Bryan, my dog Molly and I hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail. Brian and I were in heavy places that had us examining our mortality. I’m not at liberty to divulge Bryan’s reasons, but I had been recently diagnosed with a potentially fatal heart condition that runs in my family called Long QT syndrome. This heart condition would severely influence the course of my life. It was on the Appalachian Trail that Bryan gave me the trail name Fast Heart Mart late one night around a campfire when we were told by fellow hikers that if we didn’t have trail names, hard core backpackers may think we were narcs.

When I started performing professionally in 1999, Fast Heart Mart became my stage name because, without the heart condition, I probably would have gone into the military; the heart condition has been quite a guide. Thank You for being my fellow soul searcher, coining my nick name and recently sending me this photo Bryan

For anyone struggling with heavy issues right now, please know that sometimes tough circumstances can lead us to a better place. I would not wish this heart condition I have on anyone, as it’s been a horrible nightmare at times that had me suffering debilitating panic attacks, but I would be a totally different person if I didn’t have it. I believe God prunes us in different ways to prepare us for producing beautiful flowers when the season arrives

Desert Dessert and I'm Moving to Tombstone AZ

Hello there Fast Heart Mart supporters!

I hope this message finds you well, if not, blame all the corrupt politicians all over the world who still expect us to pay taxes for their mediocre work. I mean, what other service are we expected to pay for even if it doesn't function as advertised? I'm not being politically biased when I say this as I think there is corruption from ALL sides. However, you probably didn't sign up for this mailing list to hear me rant and rave about the state of the world. Let's get back to the music, shall we?

Desert Dessert
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msdiSR0gSQo
Here is a video for my song "Desert Dessert".
I originally wrote this song for guitar about 14 years ago, but it's been impervious to recording. These days I play it on banjo and I feel like I've captured the best version of it that I have ever attempted. My current band has helped create a version of this song that I am very proud of.

Here are the lyrics:
a cactus flower is blooming on the side of the road where we drive through this deserted desert

the sky is so blue I can see far away into forever I can see the infinity

the heat doesn’t bother me any excuse to move slowly through this world on my long journey

a cactus flower is blooming on the side of the road where we drive through this deserted desert

I would say that this song is essentially an attempt to relay the feeling of the desert in the spring time, but I think it is probably bigger than that, but it's vague enough to leave it open to interpretation, which leads to the mystic quality.

Southwest Tour 2022

I'm still out on the road in Arizona as I write this newsletter to you, with one last official gig in Phoenix, AZ this Friday April 1. It's been a mild trip with bursts of great joy playing music for people and bursts of despair at the gas prices and psychic atmosphere. You can read my tour journal here:  https://fastheartmart.com/spring-2022-southwest-tour

I'm Moving To Tombstone Arizona

I've lived in San Diego for 8 and half years now. It's been really good to me, but I think it's time to move to a place where an outlaw like me can be understood. The people in Tombstone AZ and all over southern Arizona have proven to be way more friendly than those in SoCal, especially the women. It's time for a change, so I'm moving to Tombstone, AZ. Thanks for all the memories San Diego! Don't worry, I'll come visit you often!

See You Next Month, God Willing

Well, that's about it for this month. I thank you all who have stayed on this list through these crazy times! I have spoken my mind a bit and lost a lot of subscribers for it, but I have also gained new subscribers. I hope the lost subscribers and I can reconcile someday. I want to make it clear to everyone reading this, that I am optimistic about the great change the world is currently experiencing. I see us as a big family who has finally been forced to discuss the pink elephant in the room. Once we've all had our chance to speak and find common ground, our family will be in a better place, functioning on a higher level.

Hello there Fast Heart Mart supporters!

Hippie Valentine Video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN4Z265kMIA&t=1s

Here is a video for my song "Hippie Valentine" that I put out last month. It's an older song of mine about a man who falls in love with a hippie girl and tries to woo her with environmentally unfriendly gifts for Valentine's Day. It has a happy ending though.

Here are the lyrics to the song:

One day in February I found a girl so fine
with no doubt I wanted her to be my Valentine
So I went out and bought a box of chocolate candy
I took them to her happily but she was angry

I dont want this box of chocolates that you've brought to me
They are made with Corn syrup and that stuff's unhealthy

I told her I understood and I would make it right
So once more I went to the store later that night
To compensate I bought a dozen roses of red
It was late when I gave them to her and this is what she said

I dont want these pesticide covered flowers
shipped here with fossil fuels and grown with slave labor

I was feelin' so dumb I ran back to my home
When I was there I felt despair and sat all alone
I had no idea pleasing her would be this hard
This time I'd keep it simple and I bought her a card

I dont want this greeting card it's made out of trees
If they all get then we can not breath

I must have been struck by the wrong arrow of that flying cupid
I knew then I had no luck and Valentine's day is stupid
I told the girl that I was sorry that I had bothered her
But then she spoke up happily and gave me this answer

You dont have to spend your money or buy me anything
I just want your company and then she kissed me

I Love San Diego, Neil Yong AND Joe Rogan

I hope this message finds you well, if not, blame Joe Rogan for all the disinformation he perpetuates. Just kidding! I have listened to Joe Rogan for years now and I find him to be one of the most balanced and peaceful sources of information out there in the main stream today. Read here for all my thoughts on this topic. For those uninterested in participating in this soap opera, let's talk about some new music stuff I have out.

I Love You San Diego

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG_oojmNXD0

The video I am putting out this month is for a song I wrote "I Love You San Diego". I do love San Diego! A LOT! Sure it's expensive, the parking is non-existent at times, there's hardly any fresh water, there's earthquakes and fires, but besides that I find it to be the perfect place to live. The weather is consistently good and the landscape of where the desert meets the ocean is my favorite.

I hope you enjoy the song and the video. Shadowlight plays fiddle, Saki plays accordion and Joe Schwab is on washboard/backing vocals.

I think the video came out alright, but my vocal mic was distorting a bit because my voice is too strong for the type of mic I was using; I won't use that mic next time.

Anyways, here are all the lyrics

It’s really tough to live in this city
‘Cause all these houses cost so much money
There’s hardly ever any parking
By the Grace of God I’m making a living

Chorus:
Where Else Would I Go
It's As Close To Perfect As I Know
That's Why I Love You San Diego

I might be living in a fantasy
with these natural disasters all around me
earthquakes and fires might kill me
but right now it’s 70 and sunny

Sittin’ on a beach in February
Sun is out and I am sun bathing
All the weather back east is freezing
I’m from there and it was depressing

I know there’s too many normies
living in this new age reality
people with too much self esteem
taking themselves too seriously

Well, that's about it for this month. Write back and say hello and I hope to write to you again next month :)

Hallelujah, Random Gigs and AntiVaxxers

Hello there Fast Heart Mart supporters! I hope this message finds you well, but if not, blame all the "anti-vaxxers" as they are the ones ruining everything for everyone. [just kidding! That's a joke! See below]

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPDqbkuvh1A

For a few months now I have been working on a cover of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. If I had to pick one favorite song writer of all time, I'd pick Leonard Cohen. His songs are serious and humorous all rolled into one deep thought. I love art that is multifaceted. I especially love art that is serious on the surface with a humorous undertone.

"Hallelujah" is a Leonard Cohen song that really caught on to the mainstream after it was in the Shrek soundtrack. Though it's not my favorite Cohen song, I knew I had to get it into my upbeat farmers' market repertoire. So I did. I hope you enjoy it.

Busking and Random Gigs

Speaking of farmers' markets, in case you didn't notice, I started a video series with snippets from random gigs, which are mostly farmers' markets these days. Click the image below to check out some videos from that series.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLb9bLUPEOTr_5VO8WMvDwjYLu2w2kCKTy

I'm Not AntiVaxx, I'm ProChoice

Why or why do I feel so compelled to keep speaking out on this subject? I’m speaking out on what I believe because there are people out there who need to know that they are not alone on how they feel about everything that is going on. There are a lot of people out there who are taking the injection because they have been pressured into it and that is sad. I speak out because it is acceptable for others to say they got the vackseen, I have the right to say I'm seeking other solutions.

Furthermore, I believe if I don’t start speaking out now, soon we will be living in a 1984 Orwellian reality, where I will have to ask permission to the powers that be, which song I am allowed to play. Speaking out about my medical choice is the most peaceful way to resolve this conflict. The faster everyone can accept the fact that billions of people around the world refuse this vackseen and that there are other solutions to C!9, the faster we will all get back on track; the sooner I won’t feel compelled to speak out about my medical choices.

Wooops! I think I just heard the sound of at least 10 people unsubscribing to this email list. Well, that's the way it goes. I respect people's choice to get the vackseen, please respect my choice to seek alternate solutions.

https://fastheartmart.com/coronavirus-pandemic

You can read more about my thoughts by clicking the link/photo above that will take you to my DIY Pandemic Eradication Blog. The photo is from my meeting with Dr. Peter McCullough this past Saturday.

Well, that's about it for now. I have some shows coming up in San Diego, but otherwise that's enough for now. Write back and say "hello"! Or tell me how much you disagree with me about whatever and maybe we can find some common ground. Everyone needs to seek common ground in these crazy days :)
